Remote resolution

  • On the TeamViewer settings of the computer you are connecting to, go to Properties / Advanced / View Settings / Remote resolution, and set it to "Best fit" so that the TeamViewer connection conforms to the resolution of your client computer.
    • Note: This does not work in the MacOS version of TeamViewer:
      • "The killer (and this is killer bad not killer good) in the Mac edition of the TeamViewer client is that you cannot access the advanced settings in the connection settings for your computer contacts. So, if I want to change resolution/logon type, I am stuffed." [1]
      • "The problem is in fact that this feature is not available on Mac computers. That is why I am unfortunately not able to suggest any workaround for this." [2]
