Technopanic is a term, used frequently by "What Would Google Do?" author Jeff Jarvis, to describe an irrational fear and paranoia over technology taking over our lives.  Jarvis' challenge to those that espouse technopanic-like views is to provide concrete, real-world evidence of the harm done.  Without this evidence of harm, technopanic is nothing more than paranoia.
