Wider viewing angle
8.3 million individually controlled pixels
- deep blacks
- does not require backlight
  - every pixel is its own brightness zone with pixel level control (versus zone level control) over local dimming
  - no backlight means no sync issues between the backlight layer and the pixel layer
  - no backlight means the screen is thinner
