Problems with new Gmail (2018)

can't paste
new reply notifications (yellow rectangle) at bottom of screen take longer to appear
clicking on a thread used to tightly collapse all read messages so you could easily see the latest unread message in thread. Now it takes some scrolling and hunting to find the unread message in a thread.
