- "The 16mm film footage for exteriors and computer graphics HAVE NOT been improved to BD standards either! A criminal, missed oppurtunity, and the "Collectors edition" packaging is cumbersome & awkward, annoying after 10 minutes unboxed." [3]
- "H2G2 was, like almost all British productions of the era, photographed on 16mm film for the outdoor shots and the aforementioned videotape for studio shots. The animated segments were also produced on film. Not all of the original film survived, so HD scans are given as a special feature - but the episodes in their entirety are in standard definition."
