Evernote[edit]
- 2016 - Starting with OS Sierra, Evernote notes containing PDF files could no longer be edited or updated with Apple Preview. This sounds like a small thing but the ability to modify PDF documents within Evernote is huge. Scanned documents brought into Evernote as PDF files with blank pages that cannot be removed or upside-down pages that cannot be set right and on and on.[1]
- FIX: Replace app store version of Evernote with download version of Evernote. On first launch, Evernote database will transfer from sandboxed app store version location. When that's done, you can safely delete the old database.
Avid Media Composer[edit]
- 2015 - Sometime after Avid Media Composer 8.4.5 and OS 10.9.5 the eyedropper in the colour picker tool no longer worked in Avid's Animatte tool. [2]
- SFTP disconnects more frequent making file transfers impossible in OS High Sierra, which affects FTP applications like Fetch, CyberDuck and FileZilla. [3]
