Destiny 2 by Bungiethe American game creator is a super shooting game released by Activision in 2017. If we are hunting for a sci-fi console game with a nice story, this is a great choice.
Players assume the role of a "Guardian", protectors of globe's last secure city as they wield a power called "Red Legion" to take care of the City from various alien races. One of those races, the Cabal, led by the warlord Dominus Ghaul, infiltrate the Last Town and strips all Guardians of their Light. The player sets out on a journey to retrieve their Light and discover a way to defeat Ghaul and his Red Legion military and get back the Last City. Like the first Destiny, the game features expansion packs that further the story and adds fresh material and missions. Year One of Destiny 2 featured two small expansions, Curse of Osiris in December 2017 and Warmind in May 2018. A third, large growth, Forsaken, premiered in September 2018, starting Year Two with an overhaul on gameplay. The first few expansions and the base game were packaged into Destiny 2: Forsaken Legendary Collection. Year Three will begin with the huge growth, Shadowkeep, scheduled for September 2019 as a standalone release, not needing the previous expansions to play. Alongside the expansion will be a variant of Destiny 2 called"New Light", a free-to-play re-release of Destiny 2 and the first two expansions.

Unlocking the first three Forges requires players to go through a long and exceptionally tedious questline that involves killing a great deal of enemies in different ways, sometimes using only Power weapons.
