Applications broken by OS X updates
Evernote
- 2016 - Starting with OS Sierra, Evernote notes containing PDF files could no longer be edited or updated with Apple Preview. This sounds like a small thing but the ability to modify PDF documents within Evernote is huge. Scanned documents brought into Evernote as PDF files with blank pages that cannot be removed or upside-down pages that cannot be set right and on and on.[1]
Avid Media Composer
- 2015 - Sometime after Avid Media Composer 8.4.5 and OS 10.9.5 the eyedropper in the colour picker tool no longer worked in Avid's Animatte tool. [2]
SFTP
- SFTP disconnects more frequent in OS High Sierra, which affect FTP applications like Fetch, CyberDuck and FileZilla. [3]
